How to reset a forgotten CMS password

Problem

I can't log in to the Course Management System because I forgot my password, or I get "These credentials do not match our records".

Solution

  1. On the CMS login page click Forgot password.
  2. Enter the email address registered with the Registrar's Office.
  3. Open the reset link in your email (check Spam/Junk) — it expires after 60 minutes.
  4. Choose a new password of at least 8 characters.

If no email arrives within 15 minutes, your registered email may be wrong. Raise a ticket under Account & Login with your student/staff ID so the help desk can correct it.
