Assignment upload fails or "file too large"

Problem
When I try to submit an assignment the upload fails, spins forever, or says the file is too large.
Solution
- Check the file size — the maximum per upload is shown under the upload box (usually 10 MB).
- Compress large PDFs or images, or save Word documents as PDF.
- Avoid special characters in the file name (use letters, numbers and dashes).
- Use a stable connection; large uploads on mobile data often time out.
If the deadline is close and it still fails, email the file to your lecturer and raise a ticket with a screenshot of the error so the submission time is on record.
